Untitled 1, or should it be two or even three even perhaps. I have no name for this painting. I could call it cowardly a “study” of course. There is much in this work I dislike and much I do like. The importance of this painting lies in the not-knowingness.
I had a clear idea about the aubergine background colour, something emerging from the centre instead of the sides. I also knew I should connect two forms of organism. I did not want to have a human-to-human connection. And here my knowing ended and I just started to paint.
