A paper I wrote to support the potential of a project we were working on at the time.
The big notion was, and still is, that data=value and when people begin to realise that their digital activities result in data they also might become aware of it’s value. Digital activities are both the conscious acts like “going to a web site” as well as the more covert tracking and extraction of data done by third parties.
This has great implications and I have been semi-active to talk about this with people. Risto Siläsmaa was receptive to the idea and a few other forward looking individuals. I am not going to pull this carriage but luckily there are now people seeing it in a similar light and I am happy of this direction. Good luck and if I can work with you on this drop me a line.
