Those who are familiar with the world of aliens, UFOs, abductions and the endless theories on what is going on, must have realised that at a higher level of abstraction there are two major opinions. They exist and they, the aliens, do not exist. I ignore, for the most part, the denying group, although they are most vocal. A few of my reasons are that people in that segment of society are uninformed, not willing to do actual research and apply ridicule and personal attacks to get a false sense of victory.
Further down the hierarchy of abstraction, we see a split among those who accept the existence of other non-human intelligent species. One opinion suggests aliens are good and here to assist us in further growth. The other side proposes they are here for malevolent reasons. I find myself in the third camp: there are both well intending and less well intending alien species influencing life on Earth.
In my cosmology, we live in a simulated environment. Our true Self is outside this (simulated) reality, you could call that part of you, the Soul. The Soul is part of a vast system I call Consciousness, Tom Campbell calls it ‘The Larger Consciousness System’ (LCS) as he uses a more fine-grained nomenclature. I stick with Consciousness for now as a shorthand for Tom’s LCS. Other and more renowned physicists have spoken and speak about Consciousness as the fundamental source of existence. Max Planck, Niels Bohr and more recently Amit Goswami, for example, think along the same lines as Tom.
Your Soul, my Soul and other Souls are all interconnected in this Consciousness. The idea of ‘we are all one’ stems from this notion. But we are not ‘all one’, we are separated Souls which are part of something much larger. Like many trees, shrubs, plants, other organisms make up a forest. Even though my understanding of the variety among Souls is very limited and my analogy with the forest is not ideal either, I can say certain things with a degree of certainty.
Each Soul is at a certain level of individual development through experiences it gained over various lifetimes. Consciousness’ goal is to evolve, which means to reach, among others, a state of universal care, harmony and all that. Consciousness achieves this by having subdivided itself into very many Souls (Individuated Units of Consciousness, according to Campbell). The sum of evolution of these individual Souls contributes to the evolution of Consciousness itself.
In other words, Consciousness has both a directing role and a receiving role. It directs by creating and maintaining simulations. Consciousness receives through the experiences of the many Souls. There is a feedback loop. The maintenance might happen directly, or through intermediaries. I have no idea, and various theories do the rounds. It is not that important to this story. Consciousness is not the all-knowing, all-loving (or hating) God as we have got to know about through the monotheistic religions.
Consciousness wants to experience. As a young child, I imagined how we humans are like the end points of a nerve, some sensing heat, some pain, some light. As a simplification, I see Consciousness the recipient of all those signals that originate at the nerve endings, through us Souls.
Earth is one of the many simulated environments in which a Soul can try to evolve. Earth is not an easy place to be, especially in times like these. But Earth is a significant simulation as many challenges are packed into one life, one round. There are many influences and restrictions we have to deal with. Gravity, seasons, social differences, violence, dishonesty, greed… you name it. Some are inherent to the preset conditions of this planet, others are aspects and reflections of the quality of the Souls that inhabit the planet.
A side note.
If someone brags about being an old Soul, pause for a moment and ask yourself: after all those lives, you still have not progressed further than life on Earth?
One key aspect of life on Earth is you have forgotten about the time between lives when you return for another round, through the process of birthing. Your Soul attaches to the (simulated) biological body at some point of time during the pregnancy. Obviously, you have chosen to try to grow and evolve in this simulation. There are other environments you could try, but not all are suitable.
Imagine the school system, it has a sort of logical order of classes, grades, and school types. You start perhaps at kindergarten, go to primary school and move on to the secondary school if you obey the rules and get the required qualifications. Assume for the sake of argument that life on Earth is like being at the primary school. If you are a good girl or boy, you move year after year from one class to the next one. This akin to going through the birth-death cycle and at each birth either moving forward to the next level, or staying at the same level (class).
The Souls that are inhabiting, or are attached to, your fellow humans could have had experiences in other simulations. Simulations like life on Earth, or different ones. Some might come from a much less harmonious simulation. Likely those are more about protecting themselves, fearing stuff taken away from them. In less harmonious environments it is, for example, more about grabbing as much as you can as you do not know what the next day brings.
When a Soul with this kind of experience enters a slightly less threatening simulation such as Earth, the Soul still carries with it the experiences and shall react based on those experiences. Over time, the Soul can see that a more cooperative and loving attitude can result in a higher quality of life. However, life on Earth is still at the lower end of the evolving system. Greedy, selfish and cruel behaviour unfortunately still pays off within the experience of a lifetime.
Now the aliens, why would they be either or malevolent, or benevolent, or both? Let start by assuming there are more aliens species. According to testimonies by those people who have had first-hand experiences, there are various classes of species. I won’t go into that as that would take too much time. Look for greys, insectoids, Nordics, reptilians, and you will find plenty to read.
It is safe to assume those alien species occupy other simulations. Some very physical and matter based like ours, and some perhaps more ethereal. It is also safe to assume that those simulations might have different restrictions and influences that affect life there. My thesis is that there are schools or classes the one has to go through before one can enter a life simulation on planet Earth. And, only (perhaps with some exceptions) after one has successfully completed ‘the school life on Earth’ you as a Soul could try a higher level of simulation.
One deduction from this is that life on Earth is part of a series of steps that a Soul has to go through to become more and more evolved (loving and caring). A loving and caring simulation benefits from potentially loving and caring inhabitants. The same for the more rough simulations, but they benefit more from those Souls that are at a low level. These rough simulations, however, have the objective to move you forward too, and for this, they have slightly higher evolved Souls, like teachers. In our life we also have these kinds of people, they are slightly more evolved and could guide people towards a next level.
Thus, Souls could move in and out of various simulations through, at least on Earth, through a birth-death cycle. Souls go to simulations where they have the opportunity to grow, but they cannot skip classes as there is a gradual progression from one level to the next, or backwards. Simulations of various kinds are needed to support effective growth. Now why those malevolent and benevolent attitudes then?
My thesis is that some entities from other and lower dimensions, lower simulations, feel the urge to either grow or sustain their role, population level or gain importance. If a Soul during a lifetime on Earth devolves, one of those lower simulations might very well get that Soul in the next cycle – after death. By the same token, beings from higher dimensions have an incentive to keep this life on Earth simulation producing evolving Souls so that their simulation receives enough candidates to sustain their simulation.
I have encountered many articles and speeches from well-informed people, also experiencers, that suggest we live in a prison planet, and that we are cattle. This narrative boils down to the idea or experience that ‘bad’ entities want our Soul and achieve this to keep us in fear, anger and all that. Yes, I agree, that is likely correct. However, and here I disagree with that narrative, in that it is not the only narrative. Another narrative about ‘love and light’ is equally valid. They can exist side by side.
I see this world in a dark state where fear is actively created and maintained, and used to keep people reacting, but not sensing or thinking. There is a whole more biotechnical rationale behind this kind of thinking, which I leave for some future writing. Suffice to say, a stressed human being looks at the world through a different lens compared to a relaxed human being.
Having all this laid out for you, you are not a helpless victim of some dark or light overlord. Despite that past actions have consequences, and as such also narrow your decision space (your future), at any point you can choose: do I do good, or do I do bad?
Unfortunately, our simulation is run by malevolent bullies for now. But bullies only manage to bully if they get the support from others, and when the majority remains silent.
