Binaural beats
You can download the binaural beats during the coming 7 days from Wetransfer. The package also includes some instructions.
Here are my instructions of a possible use. Please first, do make sure you are in a safe environment and do not have to operate machines like cars or chainsaws. And what follows all depends on who you are as a person, what your expectations are, how you feel presently and more. if you are in a bad mood, it could very well be that listening to these sounds drag you more down. But not necessarily. In other words, play it safe and experiment later.
What you will listen to are sounds, not music. Do not expect something “beautiful”.
Take your headphones and find a comfortable place, chair, or bed are great.
Put on the headphones, select a sound, turn it on and sit back and do nothing.
Postpone judgement, wait until the session is over
After the session, remember and perhaps write down, how you felt, what you thought. Perhaps you fell asleep, maybe you had a dream. Perhaps you got angry and irritated and felt this was a waste of your time.
If you felt negative, drop this for a while and possibly come back to this tool at a later time. If the feelings were more ambivalent or positive, repeat and integrate these moments of restfulness into your life. When you feel comfortable listening, begin to use it as a tool.
The beats become your tool when you let it assist you in getting, for example, insights, answers, or ideas. If you have been wondering about something for days (or years) you might get answers without specifically priming the mind. The trick is then to recognize the answer…
I got some data (information), but what was that all about? Remember the scientist who had been wondering about something for 17 years? At the early stages, when listening to the sounds, set an intention (priming the mind) for this session.
The data you get is fragile and is easily disrupted by the rational mind. Like waking up from a dream and forgetting the dream, that sensation. To capture the thoughts and keep them in conscious awareness long enough to write them down takes often practice. If you cannot remember anything, enjoy the ride itself.
Above all, do not allow frustration to enter your thinking. Frustration in this situation stems from a presumption of “how it should be”. How you should get dreams, see pictures or unicorns. There is nothing that says how this should be for you.
I know people who know many of these theories and are, what you would call, very learned or smart (rational thinking smart). But they cannot sit and relax and “waste time”. We are all different…
