Cum Per Mysterium Vitae, written in title case, represents the balance between the material and the spiritual. A close translation would be “being one with the mystery of life” or “one with the mystery of life”.
You could imagine both a female form (foreground) and a male form (background). I choose suggestive shapes to communicate the material essence of the female and the male. These shapes are suggestive, and did not need to be biologically accurate. What I looked for was a minimum of visual language to get the point across.

The Sun figurine represents the spirit, the soul. Maybe it is your soul, maybe our soul. I cannot say. There is a single line between the spiritual and the material. Nothing more is needed.
This work is part of a triptych: “Libido, avaritia et indulgentia” and “Si ibi essem, hic non essem“. This series tells the story of finding the balance between the material and the spiritual. The tension between the materials and spiritual experience has kept me occupied for many years, and you can find elements of this in my theories on authenticity. There is a parallel with my First law:
If your secret life, your private life and your public life are One, you are an authentic person.
